Joint Stock Company “Siltumelektroprojekts” (SEP) is one of the largest design companies in the Baltic States with 70 years of design experience.
JSC “Siltumelektroprojekts” specializes in the design of steam and electricity generation companies, as well as provides services in the planning and design of energy and construction projects, development of engineering solutions and cost-effectiveness analysis of projects.
A large part of Latvia’s energy system companies are based on projects developed by JSC “Siltumelektroprojekts”.
Energy system facilities are constantly being improved in terms of economic efficiency, manufacturability and reliability.
Our company has provided engineering and architectural services for the construction of energy facilities not only in Latvia, but also in Estonia, Lithuania, Russia, Belarus and Ukraine. The total capacity of these facilities exceeds 15,000 megawatts, including condensing power plants, power stations and cogeneration plants, as well as boiler houses in many cities. Hundreds of kilometers of heat network pipelines have been designed to create heat supply systems.
JSC “Siltumelektroprojekts” has a great experience in the design of oil and light-end product terminals, including the creation of storage tank farms and the construction of oil products loading and unloading racks (the total capacity of the tanks designed by JSC SEP exceeds 3,000,000 m³).
The design company JSC “Siltumelektroprojekts” is registered in the Register of Latvian Construction Merchants. In addition, the management system of our company is certified in accordance with the international standards (ISO) – ISO 9001: 2015 “Quality Management Systems”, ISO 14001: 2015 “Environmental Management Systems” and ISO 45001: 2018 “Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems”, which certify that the company’s health and safety, quality and environmental management systems comply with the requirements of relevant international standards.
The engineering company JSC “Siltumelektroprojekts” is registered in the Register of Latvian Construction Merchants and also complies with ISO standards in its activities, as evidenced by the ISO Quality Assurance Certificate in terms of design, in accordance with ISO 9001-2015, as well as in terms of ecology, occupational health and safety, according to ISO 14001-2015 and ISO 45001-2018.

1. The fundamental principle of the Policy concept:
1.1 Organization and development of high-quality design documentation in accordance with the requirements of product consumers (Customers), current legislative and regulatory design documents, environmental protection documents and the principles of preventing harm to the health of employees.
1.2 When carrying out activities and product release, introduce and be guided by modern technologies and world-class methods.
1.3 Continuously enhance and improve the functioning of the existing Integrated Management System, in order to use working time and resources effectively.
1.4 Achieve the satisfaction of product consumers (Customers) and strictly comply with their requirements.
2. The main methods of the Policy accomplishment:
2.1 Creation of favorable environment and involvement of each employee of the JSC “SEP” in the work process.
2.2 Consultation and involvement of employees in the Occupational Health and Safety management system.
2.3 Continuous maintenance of the knowledge of the employees of the JSC “SEP”.
2.4 When performing design work and considering technological developments, give priority to the safety requirements of the designed facilities.
2.5 When performing the work duties and developing the products, ensure environmental protection, ecosystem protection and rational use of resources.
3. Objectives of the Policy:
