Chicken house "7. brigade"

TECHNICAL INSPECTION IN THE CHICKEN HOUSE "7. BRIGADE", IECAVA, LATVIA

The client of SEP - "Balticovo" plans to replace the chicken keeping technology with a new one, therefore a technical survey of nine existing chicken houses is being carried out - evaluation of the state of structures, networks, thermal insulation and infrastructure. The dimensions of each barn are 20×145 meters. The total surveyed area of the buildings is, respectively, more than 26,000 m2 (without territory).

The total number of chickens in one barn is currently 120,000 birds, and in all nine barns together - about 1,080,000 birds. After the reconstruction, one chicken house will have about 100,000 birds, and all nine will have a total of about 900,000 birds. The decrease in the total number of chickens is explained by the requirement for a larger space for each hen separately, as the SEP client plans to produce category 2 eggs, and for the product to meet the standards, the hens must be able to move freely in the barn outside the cages.

SEP uses modern technologies in the survey and renovation of necessary infrastructure facilities.
